As the sometime saying goes – wrestling isn't ballet. People do get injure.
That was always a fleck of a weird saying because ballet is extremely demanding on the body – but nosotros digress!
Retired WWE star Paige held a zoom call with several of her friends yesterday that just then happen to be current WWE superstars.
On the phone call – which Paige streamed live – was Nia Jax, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Renee Young and Natalya.
During the call, Jax tells a story of when Alexa Elation was wrestling and she was forced to go speak to the 'higher-ups' because she was getting hurt every dark.

I had to go to the people, the higher-ups, and I had to put down a stern foot and say 'mind, Lexi is five-foot-nothing, 100lbs, getting thrown effectually like a footling rag doll and getting injured every night'.
"I was like 'Put me in. I'k a 6-foot, 300lb bitch, I can handle it'.
"And so I understand that there'due south a certain thing of existence tranquillity, taking it and beingness like 'no, I desire to be a team player' and then there's the other side like, sh*it dude. I can't allow one of my skilful friends, my co-worker who I want to be hither in five years and so I can continue to work her, getting hurt. Fans have instantly believed information technology'due south Ronda Rousey who Jax is talking about. That would also be consistent with what Alexa Bliss said about getting concussed on her 365 documentary on the WWE Network while working with the former UFC champion.
